George's Music Center
For New Britain families and players.
Route 72 does most of the work from New Britain. It heads west through Plainville and Bristol and then north to Harwinton, where Route 4 runs west into Torrington, about 40 minutes in all.
Band players will find trumpets, trombones and French horns from Bach, Conn and King, and flutes, clarinets and saxophones from Selmer.
The method books school programs use are on the rack, including Essential Elements, Standard of Excellence, Measures of Success and Tradition of Excellence, with reeds, valve oil and care kits nearby.
When a valve sticks or a pad leaks, bring it in. Our repair team works on brass and woodwinds, not only guitars.
