About 30 minutes up Route 8 from Waterbury: boutique amps, guitars, drums, lessons and a repair bench.

George's Music Center
For Waterbury families and players.
Waterbury is about 30 minutes south, and nearly all of it is Route 8: north out of the city, then a mile of Route 4 in Torrington.
We're a dealer for Mesa/Boogie, Carr and Magnatone amps, and they're on the floor to play through. Bring your own guitar if you want to hear it through them.
The repair bench takes tube and solid-state amps, guitars and basses, and brass and woodwind instruments.
Pedals are in the case at the counter, and strings, picks and cables are on the wall, so one trip covers the small stuff too.
